“My quest is to work a healing alchemy in art, especially the art of poetry in light of the poet’s original role as creator, and as agent of “the Word made Flesh” and the “Flesh made Word” again.

“Presently, I work on translations of German poetry, and teach –part-time– literature and composition at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico.–Also, I am researching the phenomenon of (verbal) language and how modern computer and other technologies change language and human communication.–I write poetry that explores the relationships among poetry and other artistic media, and increasingly I emphasize the musicality, as much as, or more than, the ideational content of the words. I explore how ideas can be living beings, spirits, servants of the Word, who work and move among us, affecting communication, community, healing evolution.”
