The American poet Robert Lee Frost was born in San Francisco, California, USA in 1874. Frost’s first poem was published in his high school magazine . His work was first published in England and then America. He is known for rural insights in his work, despite the fact he was raised in the city.
Amongst the rewards Frost received were four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry and the Congressional Gold Medal in 1960.
Frost died in Boston on January 29, 1963, of complications from prostate surgery.
